Military Commissions Detrimental to Closure of Guantanamo

The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) recently introduced provisions to resume the use of military commissions distinct from the U.S. federal court system to try Guantanamo detainees suspected of terrorism. OSPC along with 19 organizations sent a letter to members of Congress describing why military commissions are unfair and ineffective.
